There’s a few really important reasons why we hire every single one of our professional caregivers and do not contract with them on a per diem or per project basis. This is something that we pride ourselves in because we believe it is better for the people that we employ and the people that we serve. Our goal is to offer high quality care to as many people as we can, and we believe that this is one of the best ways to ensure that this happens.
Before we get too deep, it’s important to note that there are some very good, very talented caregivers that are not connected with a larger care service. They may work as freelancers or they may work on their own. However, although these caregivers might be incredibly talented, hard-working, and professional, having the backing of a larger service that employs them has certain advantages that lone caregivers cannot replicate.
For example, we can ensure that our caregivers have extensive training before they are sent out into the field. Again, a lot of caregivers are highly trained, but there’s no way that you can know this for sure unless you have someone vouching for them. In this case, we can vouch for them as well as point you to the training resources that we use. We only hire the people that are well qualified to do this job, and then we do our best to match families with the personality that will work best for them. This is something that independent caregivers or even agencies cannot do.
We also ensure that you are safe by providing insurance for each of our caregivers while they are out in the field. You don’t want something to happen to a loved one, but you can be assured that you are protected when one of our caregivers is assisting you and your family.
Trustworthiness and reliability are also at the center of why we do this. We believe that our clients deserve the best–not just when it comes to the quality of care, but when it comes to the stability of the service that they receive. If they can’t count on us to be there day in and day out, then we have failed them. Part of what makes senior care so important is that it adds an element of stability to an otherwise chaotic situation. You don’t want a caregiver working with your family one day, only to find that they have left for another, more profitable situation the next.
We can help you in your search. If you’re looking for reliable, trustworthy care, we can help you get started. And if you have questions about what your senior care options are, we can help with that, too. Our professional care team is fully trained and ready to help, but the first step is to connect you with the right type of care. We can do this during a free consultation and help you to take your first steps toward providing the very best care for your older family members.
